The Lewisville Public Library is a safe and welcoming gathering space for the community. Whether you are a student needing study space or a place to complete a group project, or a local organization or business in need of a meeting room, or just someone looking for a comfortable, quiet place to read or complete a project, the Library has a variety of options.
WiFi is available throughout the Library, so wherever you end up gathering, you can connect your mobile devices.
The Library offers two conference-style rooms for group use--the Crawford Meeting Room and the Small Conference Room. Each room provides a conference table, chairs, white board, projector, and podium. Dry erase markers and a laptop are available for checkout at the Information Desk. Please read our Room Use Rules for more information and guidelines for room reservation. Additional Library services that may be useful: fax, scanner, copier, printer, mobile printing.
There are six study room located on the second floor of the Library. These rooms are designed for quiet use by individuals or groups for study, reading, tutoring, proctored exams, or other projects. These six study rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis. Each study room includes a table, 4-6 chairs, and a whiteboard. Dry erase markers and a laptop are available for checkout.
A Children's Study Room is located in the Children's Wing and is available for use by groups of two or more, of which one must be an adult and at least one must be 12 years of age or younger. The Children's Study Room includes two tables, eight chairs, and two white boards. Dry erase markers are available for checkout. A variety of comfortable seating options are located throughout the Library. Some of the chairs feature a media arm to make reading and work on a laptop or mobile device easier and more comfortable. Ottomans are also available in some of the seating areas.
A shaded outdoor seating area is located just outside the west entrance of the Library.
Air up your bicycle tires and make minor repairs with the tools included in the bike FixIt station located outside the east entrance of the Library.
There are four genius bars located in the Library. Two are available on the first floor, just outside the Crawford Meeting Room, and two are located on the second floor in Teen Point. Each genius bar features USB and power outlets. The two genius bars in Teen Point have whiteboard tops on which you may write to aid in your work or collaborative projects. Dry erase markers are available for checkout.
