Ready, Set, Game: International Games Week

For families with children and teens ages 6-18

Glenmore Savage Community Room
Celebrate International Games Week with tabletop games for everyone ages 6 and up. Bring your family, friends, or come on your own for game demos, giveaways, and fun! Bring your own favorite games or play ours. Come-and-go event.

Learn how to play a new game at one of our game demonstrations, running throughout the event:
Crokinole - This traditional Canadian dexterity game combines elements of shuffleboard, curling, and other sports in a tabletop game -- and can be quite addictive!
Splendor - In this 2014 Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) nominee game, Renaissance merchants compete to acquire gem mines and attract the attention of nobles to increase their prestige.
Dominion - This classic deck-builder game (and 2009 Spiel the Jahres winner) is enjoyed by millions around the world.

Check out game-related projects made in LPL's makerspace, The Hive, using the laser engraver/cutter, 3-D printer, and Cameo Silhouette.
