Mobile Printing

Print

MobilePrint Pickup is a temporary service that is available during the Library's closure. MobilePrint allows patrons to send documents from their personal computer or mobile device to a library printer from anywhere!

Guidelines for MobilePrint Pickup Service - Please read carefully

  • MobilePrint Pickup is only available to Lewisville Public Library cardholders. Denton County residents are eligible for a temporary library card. Click here to learn how to get a temporary library card.

  • MobilePrint Pickp is only available on the days that the Library is operating the drive-up window. See the drive-up window hours below. No print jobs will be processed on Fridays and Sundays.

 Mondays  10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
 Tuesdays  10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
 Wednesdays  10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
 Thursdays  10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
 Fridays  Closed
 Saturdays  11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
 Sundays  Closed


  • Print jobs must be submitted no later than one hour before the drive-up window closes each day. Library staff will stop processing new submissions one hour before closing each day. The MobilePrint queue automatically deletes print jobs that have not been printed every night at 11:59 p.m. CST. Any print jobs submitted after the cutoff time for the day will automatically delete from the queue and will need to be resubmitted on another day. No print jobs will be process on Fridays and Sundays.

  • Patrons must pay for their print job before library staff can release the print job to the printer. There is a minimum of $1.00 payment in the online system. The online system does not allow for itemized or partial payment, so patrons will need to pay their entire account balance, which will include their print charges. 

  • Black & white printouts are .15¢ per page. Color printouts are .50¢ per page. The online payment system requires a minimum payment of $1.00. 

  • Patrons must wait to receive notification via email from library staff that their print job is ready for pickup before coming to the Library. Print jobs will not be ready for an immediate pickup. 

  • When submitting a print job, be sure to select: the desired documents to print, the appropriate printer, and the number of copies needed. Library staff will only release print jobs in the state in which they are received. Staff cannot make edits, changes, additional copies, etc. 

  • Once notified that a print job is ready for pickup, the patron may visit the Library's drive-up window located off of Civic Circle during the hours listed above. 

Follow These Steps for MobilePrint Pickup


STEP 1

Send your print job(s) to the Library via MobilePrint. Choose one of three MobilePrint options:


STEP 2

Click here to submit the MobilePrint Pick-Up Request Form to alert library staff that a print job has been submitted.


STEP 3

You will receive an email from library staff with the total amount owed for your print job(s).


STEP 4

After receiving another email from library staff notifying you that your print job is ready for pickup, visit the drive-up window located off of Civic Circle on the west side of the Library to pickup your prints.

 

 

 Online Web Portal

Best option for printing documents from your personal computer

  1. Access the library's MobilePrint web portal by clicking the purple button above.

  2. Choose the library printer to which you wish to print.

  3. Enter your email address.

  4. Browse your computer files to select the document you wish to print.

  5. Click on the forward arrow button to continue.

  6. Select the printing options, then click on the green printer button.

  7. You will be taken to the Document Status screen where you will see that your print job is being processed.

Email
Best option for printing emails and their attacments

  1. Select the email address below of the library printer to which you wish to print.
  2. You can either compose an email or forward an email to the address for the appropriate library printer.
  3. Send the email. You will receive an email confirmation from PrinterOn when your print job has been processed.

NOTE: The email itself and any attachments to the email are sent as separate print jobs. The email itself will come through as one print job and each attachment will come through as separate print jobs.



 PrinterOn App

Best option for printing from a mobile device

  1. If you do not already have it, download and install the PrinterOn app on your mobile device.

  2. From the PrinterOn app, choose the document or photo you wish to print.

  3. Tap on the printer bar at the bottom to locate and select a printer.

  4. From the Select Printer window, tap 'Location' to find available printers nearby, or tap 'Search' to find a specific location.

  5. Once you have selected a file and a printer, you will be taken to a Preview screen. Click the green Print button when you are ready to send your print job.

  6. Enter your email address, then tap the check mark in the top right corner.

  7. A blue banner will appear at the top of you screen stating "Job Started." When you print job has been processed, a green banner will appear stating "Job Success."
