Using the Library During Our Closure

Due to the Disaster Declaration and Executive "Stay At Home" Order issued by Denton County, all operations at the Lewisville Public Library will close at noon on Wednesday, March 25. The Library building remains closed. At noon on March 25 the drive-up window and book return will close.

 

email buttonThe Library will be answering questions via email, Monday-Friday, during the closure. Click here to submit your question with our Ask the Library form. A library staff member will respond within 24 hours.

 

book iconPatrons who have library materials currently checked out should hold onto those items and wait to return them when the Library re-opens. Do not leave library materials outside the book drop or outside the library entrance or you may be charged damage or lost item fees. Items originally due between February 25 and April 14 are now due April 15. 

 

library iconAt this time, the Library is not issuing new library cards. All library cards that expired between January 1-May 15, 2020 have been automatically renewed with a new expiration date of May 31, 2020. If your library card expired outside of this window, please use the Ask the Library form to request a renewal. 

 

digital library icon2Library cardholders may continue to use the Digital Library of eBooks & Media, Research Tools, and Learning Tools accessible from the Library's website. Accounts must be current and in good standing in order to access digital resources. Accounts with a balance of more than $4.99 are blocked from accessing digital resources.

You will need your library card number and PIN to log into your library account, pay fines online, and to access many of the Library's online resources.
