Brand/Model: American Button Machines 1.5" button and magnet maker

Design: Files for use with the button maker can be created using any software. Designs should be roughly 2" x 2" in size and printed on regular paper. The design can then be cutout using the 1.837" circle punch provided with the button maker.

Required Materials: 

• Button/magnet shell
• Clear mylar
• Pinback or magnet-back
• Button materials are available for purchase. Everything for five 1.5" buttons for $1.00. Everything for three 1.5" magnets for $1.00.

Additional Information: 

• The button maker also makes 1.5" magnets. Magnet supplies include a shell, clear mylar, un-pinned back, and peel-n-stick magnet. Materials for magnets are available for purchase at the Library at three sets for $1.00.

• Button materials are available for purchase. Everything for five 2.25" buttons for $1.00. Everything for three 2.25" magnets for $1.00.

Additional Information: The heat press is available on a first come, first serve basis, unless reserved for use with the sublimation printer. The heat press must be checked out from The Hive service desk and is available for use in The Hive only.

Brand/Model: HPN Signature Series 7-in-1 Tumbler Press

This heat press has seven different sized sleeves for drinkware ranging from an espresso mug, all the way to a 30 ounce Skinny Tumbler. This tumbler press is used primarily for sublimation and heat transfer vinyl. The tumbler press produces heat up to 415 degrees Fahrenheit and has a built-in timer with alarm to signal when a heat cycle completes.
