Voter registration applications must be received in the Voter Registrar's office or postmarked at least 30 days before an election in order to be eligible to vote in that election. Postage-paid voter registration applications are available at the Lewisville Public Library either inside at the Information Desk or at the drive-up window.

Submit a voter registration application if you:

• Are not registered to vote in Texas
• Have moved within the state and need to change your address

During Early Voting, registered Denton County voters may vote at any polling location in Denton County.

Dallas County Early Voting Schedule:

During Early Voting, registered Dallas County voters may vote at any voting center in Dallas County. Use the Vote Center Finder to identify polling places in Dallas County.

To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must:

• Be 65 years or older;
• Be sick or disabled;
• Be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
• Be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.

The Denton County Elections office must receive your application for Ballot by Mail no earlier than 60 days before election day and no later than the close of business 11 days before election day. (If the deadline falls on a weekend, the last day to submit an application is the preceding Friday. If the deadline falls on a state or federal holiday, the ballot must be received on the preceding business day.)
